San Diego Grand Turismo is a new exotics meets held at O’Gara Coach La Jolla (technically it’s in Sorrento Valley). It used to be Symbolic’s Service Center? Still is? I’m not really sure on the details as Symbolic’s name is still there. Anyways, I didn’t really have much time at this event as it happened to coincide with Comic Con’s ticket presales so I missed about half the meet, but not really since there’s nothing I hadn’t seen already with the exception of the Bugatti Chiron(s) that showed up. I did pass them unloading it down the street when I was leaving. Overall, it seems like a nice event like the ones of the past in terms of cars. I still don’t really care much for the youngsters that show up after getting dropped off by their mom and condescending regurgitating information from the internet. Otherwise, it’s a great event that does a surprising amount of showmanship with some rare vehicles on display.
