Cars and Coffee 01262013

Words by Tim Wong

Last week’s Cars and Coffee was a really rainy day which had a massive impact on the attendance. Usually, I wouldn’t bother with going out, but I decided to check it out anyways. There’s was a couple cars out there, mostly AWD cars like Subarus, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions, and GTRs.

The Morgan ThreeWheeler. I find this to be a very interesting car, but the way it is painted and stickered up really ruins it for me. The car is styled to be like an old fighter plane, but they go in the completely opposite direction in terms of paint and finishing touches instead of something more authentic like flat paint and airbrushing.

To my surprise, the VIP Modular Wheels anodized red painted BMW 535xi wagon rolled through. I still remember my first time seeing this trend setting car at SEMA 2011 and loved that highly unique paint job.
