This is a continuation of coverage Speed Venture’s track day at Auto Club Speedway. On day two, there were a slightly different mix of cars as some people went home for the weekend and new cars showed up. I parked over by the auto cross side, so I caught a bit of action there first. The day was packed full of tons of action from the roval, auto cross, and the garages.
Subaru siblings lining up for the auto cross runs.
Acura ILX race cars
Renner Motorsport was out there with a couple of cars with some insane aero.
Out on to the track, I caught some action of the cars in action.
949 Racing out on the track with their tag team Miatas
Ferrari F430 with “Tracwrap” which seems to be peeling off.
Not a sight one would expect to see on such a high horsepower circuit.
Here is Matt overtaking a brand new FR-S in his 93 Honda Civic.
Whiteline Evo X
Occasionally, there’s a Radical running around the track.
Ferrari California
This EG6 Civic caught me by surprise by the retro aero styling.
I spotted this Evo smoking down the roval which surprised me as they just passed the pits.
I also spotted this very retro styled Celica. It definitely has a certain stand off quality about it.
That’s the end of coverage for a weekend at the track.
