Japanese Classic Car Show or JCCS has become one of those staple events every year along with Toyotafest in the Long Beach area. The event features a variety of rare classic Japanese cars and attracts a big attendance and lining the streets of Long Beach with modified cars. Unlike your average hot rod show or classic car show, a Japanese specific car show is incredibly rare to find. I think even more rare these days then when I started out doing event coverage. This event has lasted almost two decades and seems to be no stopping any time soon.
I arrived fairly early to the event while still was still being setup, but I knew its the prime time to be shooting since the heavy marine layer was still providing that soft diffused lighting in the morning. Cars were still rolling into the show even right up to opening of the show for the public.
