It’s crazy to think this show has been going since 2013 when it was this small gathering at Auto Club Speedway on a rainy day. I’d like to see more events like this one since it’s backed completely by the industry allowing anyone to show their car and attend for free while still maintaining the level of quality as an admission show. Matt and I went up around midday when it started and there was already a line to get in because the security check was abysmally slow and incompetent. The so called “express lane” for no bag was actually three times slower than any other line because they kept getting distracted with other lines…for some reason. After about a ridiculous line wait, we finally got in to check out the cars.
The first car that caught my eye was this Z32 on Fifteen52 Forged Tarmacs in a super deep offset.
Out the rear was a dual exit HKS exhaust.
Varis kitted Subaru WRX on Advan GTs
Varis FRS
I’ve seen endless images of the AutoFactory Realize cars online, but it was exciting to see them in person. I love the wild retro drift liveries being brought back.
All in all, it was another great year with some cool cars to see and meeting up with some friends you don’t see too often.
