Starting last year, Source Interlink Media has hosted the Formula Drift tech day as event at their headquarters in Irvine. The meet is a good way to show off the Formula Drift cars before the season starts along with scout for cars for future features. After the weekly Cars and Coffee gathering, I headed over to the meet which was down the street.
Ark Performance’s matching Hyundai Genesis Coupes with one running a turbo V6 while the other is running a supercharged V8.
Widebody BMW E30 powered by a LS3.
One of my favorites at the event was the R’s Tuning Amuse GT1 kitted S2000 on some Volks RE30.
Another favorite was this red Integra with Mugen inside and out.
The gold ITBs and other gold accessories were anything but subtle.
The Super Street FR-S with the Rocket Bunny kit
Easily one of the best looking Datsun 510s I’ve ever seen.
Speaking of good looking Datsuns, this 240Z has become quite the looker recently. For some reason, I can’t put my finger on what’s changed exactly, but it’s definitely better.
This S2000 has some nice things like the Spoon bumper, but I really wanted to capture the awesome paint.
One of the few modified CLs, I’ve seen actually done up pretty nice.
This Vortech supercharged S2000 was pretty impressive aside from some weird overall bodylines from the widebody.
Vick Chandra’s black and yellow Evo IX
The interest famous Randy Goco’s BMW 3-series
Probably the one classic muscle car at the event, but this was a prime example of a Camaro in perfect condition.
Civic with a full Domani conversion
Luigi Arroyo’s S2000 with the J’s Racing widebody
Ending this post with this blue S2000 with the Amuse Powerhouse widebody and bronze Work Equips.
do you guys know whos s2k with the bronze equips is? i really want to do a similar color to that for my gramlights, but with a gloss coat on top.
Thanks Tim! For the post of my car and the comments! Really appreciate it! continue the amazing work!
