It’s been a while since I’ve been to a traditional car show like Wekfest or has there been a decreasing amount of them lately. It could be that less and less of them have caught my interest to justify a trip. I can definitely say that Wekfest has never disappointed me with the cars that show up because there’s always something that I just love. It’s no surprise considering how big the name Wekfest has become even back when they were Northern California exclusive show. I made out to the San Jose show a couple years ago and I thought it was a refreshing change of scenery even though it happen to be the same year the Socal invasion occurred and half the cars were the ones I saw all the time already.
This year’s Wekfest LA took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center which is great because I grew tired of the Queen Mary shows and parking extortion. I was actually surprised to see the variety of great builds there were.
