A little break from the exhibit hall to stop in to Hall H and see what’s going on.
A sneak peak at the new Alien movie: “Prometheus”. Charlize Theron and Damon Lindelof live with a live video chat with Ridley Scott and Noomi Rapace who were on set in Iceland. I’m been a huge fan of the Alien franchise so when I heard they were making a new one, I couldn’t wait. Lucky me, I just happen to stop into Hall H at the right time. According Ridley Scott, the movie was supposed to be a prequel to Alien, but it has evolved into something else entirely. The only thing from the Alien movies will be the Alien DNA and everything else will be new.
Justin Timberlake stopped in for the new movie called “In Time” which written by the same person as “Gattaca”, Andrew Niccol. I highly recommend looking it up and seeing the trailer, because it looks amazing.
Andy Serkis who played Gollum from LOTR was also present for the role he played as Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes which will be out very soon.
I guess they are making a new Total Recall.
Camilla D’errico had her lovely artwork out at her booth. She has some pretty amazing pieces of work.
One size larger and I’d probably out $65 wearing some new shoes.
Gundams displayed at that booth I always take pictures at
Tiger and Bunny. Its pretty awesome anime that has been airing this season. It is rather plastered with advertisements in the show, but its easily ignored…sort of.
Mark Hamill signing some stuff at the Star Wars booth
Batmobile
Couple of shots at Gentle Giant
Everyone likes Deadpool.
Some more from the Sideshow booth
Highly detailed scaled Batmobile replica
One of the exclusives this year. I didn’t find many of exclusives to my liking.
I found this awesomely funny. It was a display of Godzilla(s) destroying Comic Con.
Sam Worthington (Avatar and Terminator Salvation)
Captain America costume at the Avengers/Marvel booth
Leave you today with a anime rendering of Futurama. More to come.
