I was going to name it the Illest store opening, but I didn’t actually go into the store to check it out. There was a line outside all day and I hate lines so I didn’t bother. I’ll probably check it out some other day as I’m not a huge fan of Illest or their products.

After we got sick of waiting for the line to die down at Illest, we headed over to Irvine to eat at House of Shabu Shabu. It’s been a while since I came here, but they still recognized me.

All you can eat Kobe beef

Shabu Shabu sushi which is essentially torched Kobe beef on rice. It looked like slugs, slime included.
