A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to revisit the California Festival of Speed – an annual gathering of Porsche enthusiasts at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
The event, put on by the Porsche Club of America, brings a variety of Porsche vehicles together to show and play on the track.
We stopped by on Sunday (the last day), so I think a lot of cars had already made their way out.
Cup 911s are the best of the breed – it’s always impressive see these in person and out tearing up the track.
Of course, the classic Porsche icons were there too.
Tim and I both loved this simple red/black 914. These cars have a strange look in their stock form – the front tends to look similar to the rear. This one had some nice touches to the body – including the fenders, bumper trim and spoiler – that really improves how the car looks.
Next up, we’ll have some photos from the Eibach Honda Meet from the same location!
