Motors on Main is a small classic car show that takes place on the streets of Coronado. Coronado is already a old town and having these pristine classic line the streets makes you feel like your have time traveled or at least feel like you’re on a Hollywood set. I rarely come down to Coronado for anything other that car events. It used to be once a year for the Coronado Speed Festival, but now I’ve added Motors on Main to my annual schedule. While San Diego doesn’t have many car shows gear toward the Imports, the classic cars have shows all year around and they feel more authentic to a car show because it’s actually about the cars and not the “instafame lifestyle” nonsense kids care about. These people that attend these shows love cars, love the community, and doesn’t waste their time judging everyone else. It’s a great atmosphere.
