Cars and Coffee Irvine 10152011

Words by Tim Wong

Last Saturday morning, Matt and I made another trip out to the super car filled Cars and Coffee in Irvine. I wasn’t expecting anything huge since I hadn’t heard any hype about it, but it was packed with some rare and high end cars.

I’ve seen an increase in Dodge Challenger 392s on the road lately.

Lincoln Continental Drophead. I have always found these to be pretty wicked with the suicide doors.

I’m definitely not a fan of Porsches mostly because they don’t really have a “wow” factor to me, but this generation of Porsches I always found attractive. A little RWB wouldn’t hurt.

This Dodge Viper GTS was really aggressive looking, but the modifications I think did go overboard and just made the whole car feel really cheap.

Volkswagen Golf GTI with a really aggressive kit.

A nice crowd of American muscle cars as usual

Eleanor. Not really 100% complete, but a nice Mustang nonetheless.

This classic Ferrari was leaking fluids and had to be towed out.

Ferrari F40. Oh it was quite the treat. I probably walked around and kept coming back to it for a good 30 minutes. You really don’t see these very often so snap to your hearts content.

I want to say its glass, but it’s probably plastic to save weight since the F40 was all about weight.
